The Bast Alpha Garrison is the Louisiana chapter of the 501st Legion, an international Star Wars costuming community. With 55 members located throughout the state, Bast Alpha is committed to bringing the love of Star Wars to Louisiana through charitable and community-based events.

Troopers from the garrison will be deployed at two comic conventions in August: Geek’dCon in Shreveport on Aug 13 and Louisiana Comic Con in Lafayette on Aug 28. Rebel activity expected.
Concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 have put a temporary pause on all trooping events for the foreseeable future. Stay safe out there, troopers!
